I first discovered LifeSong for Orphans in 2016. A group from Birmingham needed someone to be in charge of crafts at a summer camp for orphans in Ukraine. First I had to find Ukraine on a map. Then I had to check my passport. Then I remembered what my daddy said was my middle name “GO!” Then of course, I said yes and discovered the beautiful country and people of Ukraine. Two years later (2019) they called me again, and this time I was happy to take my daughter Becca along to help. In 2021* when Covid was winding down, they called again, and this time I was fortunate to take my friend from Cullman, Joey Orr. Every trip was full of learning, loving and caring for the people at this summer camp for Orphans. For more detailed information, log on to Lifesong.org and looking for ministry in Ukraine.
