Dr. Beth Watkins Cape is a native of Moselle, Mississippi. Growing up on a farm, she spent much time planting flowers, working in the garden, and walking in the woods. Her love for sharing the beauty of God’s creation has blossomed through her scripture art ministry. Every year for 16 years God has given her new ideas and skills to share His Word through painting and publishing a yearly calendar.

After working in church ministry for 35 years as an organist, pianist, music director, youth minister, and children’s minister, she recently retired. But after three years of covid and retirement, she is happy to start working part time again at Faith Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She continues to serve as organist/pianist at Aldersgate Methodist Church at their early service. A busy life is a happy life as God shows her new beauty every day through art and music.
